Arkansas has two minor league baseball teams that play at beautiful, family-friendly ballparks. Hey batter, batter!
I love a good baseball game. It’s the warm breeze, the sound of a baseball making contact with the bat and my kids yelling at the players to “RUN!”
To me, watching a baseball game is relaxing. It makes life slow down. People attend minor league baseball games in Arkansas to visit with one another as much as watch the game itself.
If you are a baseball fan, Arkansas has two great minor league teams that you will love.
1. Arkansas Travelers at Dickey-Stephens Ballpark in North Little Rock
My favorite place to watch minor league baseball is at Dickey-Stephens Park in North Little Rock. It happens to be the home of the Arkansas Travelers (affectionately called “The Travs).
The Travelers and the city of North Little Rock combined forces to create one of the finest facilities in Minor League baseball. Dickey-Stephens Park not only has beautiful and unique design elements, it also takes advantage of a wonderful location. -BaseballParks.com
When talking about Dickey-Stephens Park, we couldn’t agree more with Joe Mock from Baseballparks.com who said, “It screams baseball … from its beautiful brick exterior to its gorgeous concourses, and from its outfield fences (not covered with “ribbon boards” like in Frisco) to its bullpens.”
Baseballparks.com even named Dickey-Stephens Park the “2007 BaseballParks.com Ballpark of the Year!”
Thanks Joe.

Another great minor league team in Arkansas is the NWA Naturals. Located in the beautiful region of Northwest Arkansas, you won’t want to miss a game at Arvest Park.
