6. The Historic Beard and Lady Inn near Devil’s Den State Park
I love, love, love the Beard and Lady Inn!
Our stay there was magical and I have recommended this historic hotel over and over again.
We stayed in the only King Suite with a private bath and it’s stunning!

7. Gap Mercantile Cottage in the Ouachita Mountains
We visited this cute mercantile while in the Ouachita Mountains and, let me tell you, the cottage is so cute and the owners are lovely!
“Gap Mercantile is located in quaint Caddo Gap, AR. The overnight rental is part of the actual historical Gap Mercantile, an old general store that was built in 1932. The store is still in operation and is open to the public during the summer season Tuesday through Saturday from 10 to 4. You will have the cottage area in the back of the store that was renovated to accommodate overnight guests that has its own private entrance. This rental is just a short walk from the Caddo River.”
This is one of the most unique vacation rentals in Arkansas!

We recently stayed in one of the cabins here at Mountain View RV Park and Guest Motel. It was quiet, well equipped, so cute and near everything!
Within minutes, you can be in downtown Mountain View catching live music, shopping and eating or you can head over to the Dulcimer Shop, Ozark Folk Center State Park, or Blanchard Springs Caverns for an underground tour!
