Best Arkansas-Made Soap Companies
These are the best tried and true Arkansas soap companies that are recommended by myself and fellow Arkansans.
The Wooden Boar Soap Company
The Wooden Boar Soap Company is a small, handmade soap company based in Cabot, Arkansas. (We love Cabot!) They have some of the loveliest soaps I have ever used! They hand craft beautiful bar soaps, bath bombs, bath salts, shave bars and much more!
They also have a beautiful mission to help the community. What a great way to get a quality, handcrafted product you love and make an impact in the community at the same time.
“The Wooden Boar Soap Company is a small operation with huge dreams. We make handcrafted soaps, bath bombs, and bath salts. We are certain that you will love our products. We believe in giving back to the community that supports us. That is why for every bar soap purchased we will donate a travel bar to the Lonoke County Safe Haven (LCSH). The LCSH is a shelter helping victims of domestic violence. ” –The Wooden Boar Soap Company
White River Creamery
This Arkansas soap company comes highly recommended by a friend of mine. If she says it’s good, then it’s good!
P.S. White River Creamery also makes cheese!
“We are a family run farmstead dairy and creamery. We have over 100 ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats on 15 acres of pasture in Elkins, Arkansas. Our cow milk comes from the local dairy that is certified hormone free and antibiotic free. Our dairy is located just 20 minutes outside of Fayetteville across from the White River in the Ozark Mountains.” –White River Creamery

Tammy Sue’s Critters
When I asked in my Cool Arkansas Moms Facebook group about where to find the best Arkansas-made soap company, Tammy Sue’s Critters was recommended with a lot of exclamation marks.
I decided to do a little research into the company and fell in love with Tammy’s story. She reminds me so much of myself (except she’s much more talented). Her curiosity for life has led her down many “crafty” paths and we’re so excited that she has curated her love for handmade soap!
She is so talented and makes each bar with love. If you want a soap that you can recommend with a lot of exclamation marks too, check out Tammy Sue’s Critters.
Many of the herbs used in the soap are grown on the farm. [After Tammy got the soap making “bug”], the creative side took over. Soon she was testing recipes and working with various oils, fresh goat’s milk, herbs, and spices. At last a basic recipe was created. From this recipe, with a few variations, she has been able to come up with more than thirty scents. There is a joy in each batch that is created. All of the soap is made in small batches in the farm kitchen. Each bar is hand cut and trimmed. After the drying process, each bar is wrapped in fabric, much like a gift ribbon, and then a tag is tied on. –Tammy Sue’s Critters
