Treehouse Vacation Rentals in Hot Springs, Arkansas – “In The Trees”

Recently, we took a trip down to Mt. Ida and Hot Springs. We stayed at several vacation rentals and one of them was In The Trees in the Northwoods of Hot Springs, Arkansas.

We had a relaxing time! It even rained twice and watching the rain from the huge windows was beautiful.

“Sarah and Lee set out to create In the Trees–A resort where people can find the elusive escape we all crave–where people will come, if ever so briefly, to heal.  In the Trees offers something simple–a chance to be right here, right now, without worry.” -source

It’s brand new as of 2023. They have built about 5 units like this one and they have several more under construction.

Our unit was called “The Beaver” and it can sleep 6. There is one bedroom, a loft upstairs and a hide-a-bed in the couch.

With a hot tub, propane fire on the deck, heated bathroom floors, huge walk-in shower, fluffy bath robes and all the amenities…what more could you need?

In The Trees Deck

Each unit has a deck with a view. Ours had a view of the valley and the Hot Springs Mountain Tower. We had the perfect view of a double rainbow while we were there!

The decks include hot tubs, propane fire, and chairs.

One thing to note is that the road up to the rentals is gravel. So, if you are in a small vehicle ( I was in my minivan), you will need to keep your speed on the way up.

Things to Do in Hot Springs

Each day we would take a trip to Bathhouse Row to walk and shop. While you’re in town, don’t miss Mamoo’s Creamery! It’s all homemade ice cream and it’s SO good!

“We have the ONLY homemade ice cream in downtown Hot Springs!
We also have homemade waffle cones, roasted nuts, fresh baked goodies, and old school candy.” –source

Another fun place is Kringle’s Christmas Shop and the Fordyce Visitor Center. The Fordyce offers free bathhouse tours!
